Your First Consult

During your first consult with Dr Philpott you will be asked a series of questions regarding your symptoms. He may do a physical examination. He will then explain the possible causes of your symptoms and discuss specific investigations that you may need (such as an endoscopy or colonoscopy), and explain the possible risks involved. You will then have your investigations booked. After you have had the investigations, he will then discuss your diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

→  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your Appointment to ensure you have time to complete any administrative tasks.

Please remember to obtain and bring the following;

→  Medicare card or Veteran Affairs card

→  Referral letter from your family doctor

→  Private insurance details

To cancel an Appointment

Please call the hospital or medical practice that you booked your consult or procedure with and let them know at least 24 hours in advance so that they can give your allocated time slot to another patient. They will then contact Dr Philpott.
